David Templeman i read on somebody's collection here that they buy anything on the gondwana label because of matthew halsall. now given he is godlike, i got this. and it's fab!
Philip Graham

Philip Graham Hmm, this is my kind of groove--jazz with a spiritual twist, influenced by the 60s greats John and Alice Coltrane and McCoy Tyner. And if you like this, give a listen to "The Meeting" by Deep Jazz, and Brandee Younger's "Prelude."
Oh, and of course don't forget John Coltrane's "Love Supreme," Alice Coltrane's "Journey in Satchidananda," and Tyner's "Enlightenment Suite."
Clayton Giles

Clayton Giles Laid-back and spacious, dreamy jazz. The musicians (six?) really listen to each other and never lose it even when they get loose. On a couple of tracks a sort of musical mandala is created by (usually) the piano, and the other musicians play within it; on others it's wide open space. Favorite track: Peace In Nineveh.
